HL7 FHIR® Implementation Guide: Patient Request for Corrections, Edition 1
DESCRIPTION
Current processes for patients to request corrections are nonexistent or burdensome, mainly paper based and not interactive. This guide provides a standard method for electronically exchanging the required information to facilitate the patient’s request for corrections. The guide supports electronic communication that reflects the workflow of the correction process including the ability to track status of requests and any back and forth communication.
