Details

The focus of the Data Quality Project is to ensure evidence of truth is reliably captured and maintained throughout the health data/information lifespan, so that trust is assured. This enables the much vaunted 'chain of trust' - from source to use. Thus our goal is to advance the development and adoption of HL7 (and related) standards supporting consistent data definition, evidence of truth and assurance of trust.

Needed is evidence of truth (data is factual, authentic) to ensure trust (confidence, surety) - conveyed for all uses and to all users of health data/information - throughout the lifespan of that data/information.
