Details

Based on Arden Syntax for Medical Logic Systems v3.0 STU, produce a web-based documentation of the standard main published materials. The web page will be hosted under an official HL7 domain and finally replace older publication formats.

Currently the main standard materials - written documentation, specifications, appendices and artefacts - are only officially published as a PDF. Migrating to a web page improves access and usability of the standard.


Today online materials are the primary source of information regarding standards, including HL7 material. Arden Syntax needs to complete the transition from a classic document to a web based standard if it intends to gain visibility, implementers, and effectively communicate syntax and concepts to users. With the standard present on a erb page it can be more effectively promoted for consideration of CDS projects, improving adoption of the standard.
